Manager Aged Care
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Director of Clinical Services, the Manager Aged Care will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical care staff, ensuring provision of high quality care for residents aligned with the organisation’s core values and assuring the financial and business operations of St Joseph’s Nursing Home are managed in line with the overall strategic plan.
To be successful, applicants will need to possess the following:
– Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a management position, ideally within an Aged Care setting
– Sound financial and budgeting skills
– Clinical background is desirable
– Knowledge and understanding of compliance management, ideally in Aged Care Accreditation and ACFI
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Proven leadership skills, ability to manage staff and the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team
– Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety
